Dave is entering his first year as the Director of Football Operations for the NCFA - he previously served as the Director of Awards and Recognition for the league from 2013-2017.

Dave has an extensive football background and currently serves as the Head Coach of the Professional Indoor team the Iowa Barnstormers.  He had previous professional coaching stops with the Albany Empire, Green Bay Blizzard, Wisconsin Wolfpack and Milwaukee Bonecrushers. 

Coach Mogensen also served as the Head Coach of the UW-Milwaukee Club program from 2012-2016, helping to bring them into the NCFA.  Prior to his time at UWM he was the Head Coach of Shorewood High School, helping lead the program to their first playoff appearance in over 20 years - he also spent time at an Offensive Coordinator at East Troy, Milwaukee Hamilton and Grafton High Schools.

Dave was a standout high school athlete at Elkhorn Area High School in Elkhorn WI.  He was a three sport captain and was named to the All Southern Lakes Conference Team as a football and baseball player.  He played college football as a LB at Wisconsin Lutheran College

Dave lives in Des Moines with his spouse Shaveonte and is the father to 5 boys, Clay, Landon, Owen, Davion and Donovan
